Abu Dhabi Terminals “5th Anniversary Celebration”
In the evening of 24 May 2011 Abu Dhabi Terminals celebrated their 5th Anniversary under the patronage of Mr. Tawfeeq Yousof Al Mubarak, Chairman, Abu Dhabi Terminals. 400 guests were invited to the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr and enjoyed presentations, speeches by the organization’s Chairman and CEO, live music and dinner in a themed, blue ambience. One of the evening’s highlights was a speed painting performance by a well known French artist. He painted portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Ray Charles, which were sold in a silent auction during the event.

First Abu Dhabi Waiter Race
Together with Rotana Hotels in Abu Dhabi, INTELLEGO organized the first Abu Dhabi Waiter Race on 23 April 2011 at Khalifa Park in Abu Dhabi. 16 teams of various Abu Dhabi and Al Ain based hotels participated in the competition and the event was open to the public to attend and cheer for their teams. All teams competed in three different races: straight race, obstacle race and relay race. The event will be held annually in Abu Dhabi.

World Ports & Trade Summit: Exhibition Booths for Abu Dhabi Terminals & Department of Transport
INTELLEGO Events designed and built two exhibitions booths at the World Ports & Trade Summit 2011. Our clients were Abu Dhabi Terminals (booth size: 12m x 6m) and the Department of Transport (booth size: 15m x 12m). The exhibition took place from 28 – 30 March 2011 at ADNEC.

AHK Winter Party
Together with the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK) INTELLEGO Events organized the first “AHK Winter Party” at Yas Links Golf Club on 3 February 2011. 100 guests enjoyed a lively networking event with buffet dinner and a performance by DJ Sabrina. INTELLEGO Events provided themed decoration, the stage and the DJ.

Estee Lauder “Adventurous” Desert Safari
Estee Lauder Middle East and India hosted an Abu Dhabi desert safari to launch a new fragrance. Forty employees were invited to participate in the adventure that took place on 10 January 2011. Departing from the Yas Hotel, guests arrived at an exclusive desert campsite after an enjoyable, one-hour journey over the sand dunes. INTELLEGO Events provided the camp setup, beverages, a henna artist, camels and a local dance troupe. After experiencing a beautiful desert sunset, guests returned to the Yas Hotel for dinner.

10th Annual Business Groups Forum
Under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the 10th Annual Business Groups Forum was held on 9 November 2010 at the Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi and consisted of an exhibition and gala dinner.

The Forum is a major annual event providing a platform for International Business Groups in Abu Dhabi to gather and network. During the afternoon exhibition the Forum provided an exceptional opportunity to showcase the participating Business Group’s member-nations, individual companies, products and services.

Jointly organized by the Polish Business Group UAE and The Tunisian Business Council Abu Dhabi and in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this year’s event was visited by 700 guests. Twenty-two countries participated in the Best Booth Contest offering two categories: Best Themed Booth and Attendees’ Favourite Booth.

Abu Dhabi Terminals “Town Hall Meeting”
On 25 November 2010 Abu Dhabi Terminals invited 600 of their employees to attend an outdoor meeting on their premises inside Port Zayed in Abu Dhabi. The event included the introduction of Abu Dhabi Terminals’ new management and awards for long service were presented to more than 40 employees. INTELLEGO Events provided the stage; a tailor-made backdrop, catering, tents and technical equipment.

Naming Ceremony for “Lone Star”
On the morning of 23 May 2010, 150 guests of the managements of Queíroz Galvão Óleo e Gás and Gulf Piping Company assembled at Port Zayed to participate in the naming ceremony for their newest semisubmersible oil rig which was christened, “Lone Star”. Following a program that included remarks by senior company representatives and award presentations in recognition of contributions made to the project, everyone moved from the air conditioned tent erected dockside to witness the rig’s christening. The ceremony culminated with a buffet brunch and optional tours of the Lone Star platform. The celebratory day came to a close with a sumptuous Lebanese dinner at the Diwan L’Auberge Restaurant in Emirates Place Hotel. INTELLEGO Events was responsible for various logistical tasks at Port Zayed, attendee ground handling, the tent, catering and provided technical equipment during the morning event.

Abu Dhabi Terminals “4th Anniversary Celebration”

Al Rawdah German Medical Center – Open House
Business partners, families and friends were invited by the Al Rawdah German Medical Center to an informative afternoon at their premises in Al Rawdah, Abu Dhabi. On 1 May 2010, various medical departments showcased their treatment methods and a variety of games and activities provided entertainment for the children. One hundred guests were given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the center’s facilities while becoming acquainted with the management and doctors. The event was sponsored by the Beach Rotana Hotel Abu Dhabi and other Abu Dhabi businesses and organizations.

Children’s Dance Show for Abu Dhabi Ladies Club
INTELLEGO Events provided lighting equipment and stage decoration for a children’s dance show on 7 May 2010 at the National Center for Documentation & Research in Abu Dhabi. Five hundred guests enjoyed the lively and exciting show comprised of 26 routines performed by children ranging between 5 and 15 years of age. The dance routines were choreographed by the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club.

Naming Ceremony of an Oil Rig for Odebrecht Drilling Services LLC
On 29 January 2010 Intellego Events organized the naming ceremony for Odebrecht’s latest oil rig “NORBE VI”. A tent, catering services and sound equipment were provided close to the rig, located in a ship yard in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, and the execution of the actual naming ceremony was handled. 70 guests, flown in from Brazil, enjoyed the celebration at this stunning venue.

The Sir Colin Davis Abu Dhabi Leadership Tutorial for UAE Academy & Oxford University
The UAE Academy, Oxford University’s Saїd Business School and Sir Colin Davis, famed conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, joined forces to offer a unique Executive Education Leadership Tutorial that took place at the Emirates Place on 6 April 2010. His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan was guest of honor at the private event organized for attendance comprised of 40 key figures in government and private business. A dynamic panel discussion and film presentations provided a platform for one of the greatest conductors of all time to his history and experience.

UAE Ministry of Economy at GITEX
We designed and provided the Ministry of Economy with a tailor made exhibition stand for their participation at GITEX Technology Week at the Dubai Convention Center from 18 - 22 October 2009. The aim was to introduce the latest e-Government services to the public and to launch a monthly magazine the Ministry will issue from now on.

Gala Dinner for the German Business Council Abu Dhabi at The Yas Hotel, Yas Island
120 guests participated in a gala dinner Intellego Events organized for the German Business Council Abu Dhabi on 14 January 2010. Apart from the stunning view onto the race track during the cocktail reception, the guests enjoyed a raffle with great prizes during the dinner. Guest speaker was the German Ambassador.

Magic Waterfall in Muscat
On 10 October 2009 we installed the Magic Waterfall at a corporate event in Muscat, Oman. The event was held to launch various showrooms and shops and 20 brand names, logos and welcome messages were displayed in different colours during an entertaining evening. The Magic Waterfall we used was 3 meters wide and the display attracted the attention of hundreds of attending guests.

"Oktoberfest" for the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce
450 members of the UAE German community gathered on 15 October 2009 at the Grand Hyatt Dubai to celebrate an exclusive Oktoberfest in a traditional Bavarian tent. Original Bavarian food, a Bavarian band and a raffle with great prizes made this lively event an unforgettable evening. 15 UAE based companies sponsored the "Oktoberfest". Some of the proceeds were donated to the organization "SOS Kinderdorfer".

German General Hospital and the Al Rawdah German Medical Center Abu Dhabi Launch
On 2 March 2009, a trio of introductory activities to introduce the newest addition to the medical and health industry in Abu Dhabi were staged under the patronage of His Excellency Abdulla Abdul Jalil Al Fahim. The series of events commenced with a morning ground-breaking for the German General Hospital in Khalifa City A; followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony initiating a soft opening of the Al Rawdah German Medical Center located at the Al Rawdah area in Abu Dhabi. The launch culminated in an evening reception at the Beach Rotana Hotel providing 250 guests with entertainment and an edifying presentation by the Board of Directors.

Spring Festival at Zayed University
1,000 students and families enjoyed a lively day on the Abu Dhabi campus including live entertainment and games. On 30 April 2009 this event was held under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Intellego Events assisted in the overall planning apart from providing themed decoration and performers.

8th Annual Business Groups Forum
The 8th Annual Business Groups Forum was held on 9 November 2008 at the Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

The Forum is a major annual event providing International Business Groups in Abu Dhabi a platform to meet and network. The forum provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the participating Business Group’s countries, individual companies, products and services.

This year’s event was visited by 700 guests and was jointly organized by the Syrian Business Council and the German Business Council, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

"A Good Match" for MAN Ferrostaal
Under the patronage His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, 250 distinguished guests enjoyed a lively gala event at the Inter-Continental Abu Dhabi on 10 January 2009 to celebrate the recently formed partnership between the Abu Dhabi Government-owned International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) and the German organization, MAN Ferrostaal. Following a friendly football match between Al Jazira Club and the FC Bayern München that took place in the evening; guests and players of both teams witnessed the ceremonial signing of the partnership.

Magic Waterfall at Gitex 2008
The event included the installation and operation of the “Magic Waterfall” on the GITEX exhibition 18 – 24 October 2008 at the Airport Expo in Dubai.

The client’s logo and corporate messages were displayed to draw maximum attention to the company’s exhibit booth.

35th Anniversary of the National Petroleum Construction Company: Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Higher Corporation of Specialized Economy Zones the National Petroleum Construction Company celebrated their 35th anniversary at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on 24 November 2008.

350 guests enjoyed a gala dinner and an outstanding entertainment program.

Arab Intellectual Property Forum 2008
Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Economy at the time, the UAE Ministry of Economy, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Khasawneh & Associates Legal Consultants Dubai hosted the ‘Arab Intellectual Property Forum’ on 8-9 January 2008. This key international event provided the opportunity to discuss policy issues surrounding intellectual property rights, highlighted success stories of companies that have created a substantial market and demand for businesses anchored in intellectual property and provided an opportunity for interaction between entrepreneurs, regionally based companies and leading multinationals.

The two-day forum focused on anti piracy and counterfeiting issues particularly the enforcement of intellectual property rights and combating the flow of counterfeit products. The forum also addressed electronic commerce, intellectual property and arbitration matters relating to cyber crime laws and exploitation of domain names as well as the use of IP in franchising and brand management techniques that build successful businesses.

The forum took place at the Hilton Abu Dhabi and included a luncheon and a gala dinner. It was the first event of its kind in the UAE with over 200 delegates attending. The forum was recognized and documented by local as well as international electronic and print media.

World Security Forum 2008:
This major conference was held on 21 and 22 October 2008 at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The program included presentations from ten world class experts who reviewed a number of dramatic case studies of recent major, real life catastrophes. The Forum provided case studies of how emergencies have been and should be handled, the difficulties that were encountered and the lessons to be drawn for the benefit of mankind.
